Schedule of Events
We were originally going to announce all of this the weekend of the event, but we realize that some of you have kids and need additional preparation and timing. So in keeping with the requests, we’ve decided to publish the schedule of events for the weekend.
Saturday 5/23
12:00pm: BBQ Lunch at French Park (1040 Fuller Rd, San Luis Obispo, CA). Play games, hang out, talk.
2:30pm: Leave for Pismo Beach.
3:00pm: Arrive at Pismo. Play in the water. Play in the sand. Volleyball, Frisbee, Football
6:00pm: Dinner at SLO Naz (3396 Johnson Ave, San Luis Obispo, CA).
7:30pm: Begin Evening Program. Group Game, Worship, CCF Slideshow, Testimonies.
9:30pm: End of “Official” Program.
10:30pm: Need to be out of the church.
Sunday 5/24
~8:00am-1:00pm: Church in the morning
2:00-5:00pm: Hiking Bishop’s Peak, or trip to Montaña de Oro.
6:00pm: Sister’s Appreciation Dinner (please contact Ken Chee: hitokiri1111 (at) hotmail (dot) com for details)
Hotel Information
Hotel information has been removed as the period for reservations has expired. Unfortunately, at this time, if you do not have reservations at the Courtyard Marriott with us, you’ll need to make your own. Our apologies.
Cost
Some of you have asked about the cost for the event. In an attempt to minimize financial impact, especially in this economic environment, the cost will be $5 per person, with a maximum of $20 per family. Unfortunately, this does not include lodging listed above, but does include all food and activities for the weekend.
